Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct critical care to ICU patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- check_circleContinuously monitor and interpret vital signs, hemodynamics, and complex equipment parameters
- check_circleAdminister medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilators and life-support equipment per protocols
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
- check_circleCommunicate effectively with patients and families offering education, support, and treatment updates
- check_circleMaintain accurate, timely electronic documentation and follow hospital and regulatory standards
- check_circleAdhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives in each facility
- check_circleRapidly adapt to new ICU environments, policies, and EMR systems at different assignment locations
- check_circleRespond to emergencies and participate in codes utilizing advanced life support skills
- check_circleParticipate in ongoing professional development and competency maintenance
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license (compact or state-specific)
- verifiedACLS certification
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedMinimum 2 years recent ICU experience
