We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Syracuse, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in treating patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. Working alongside electrophysiologists, you will assist with arrhythmia ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and medication-based treatments.
Your day will involve performing comprehensive nursing assessments, educating patients and families on procedures and post-care expectations, and assisting physicians with complex studies. You will administer medications, including conscious sedation, and monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics to ensure safe, effective care. This position requires maintaining sterile technique, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with the care team to implement patient-centered treatment plans.
