About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will play a key part in treating patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. Working alongside electrophysiologists, you will assist with arrhythmia ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and medication-based treatments.
Your day will involve performing comprehensive nursing assessments, administering conscious sedation, and monitoring cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics throughout procedures. You will be responsible for patient education regarding pre- and post-procedure care, maintaining sterile techniques, and collaborating with the care team to implement patient-centered treatment plans.
