Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct electrophysiology procedures including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping
- check_circlePerform insertion and programming of implantable cardioverter-defibrillators and pacemakers
- check_circlePrepare patients for procedures by performing baseline measurements and monitoring vital signs
- check_circleAssist with special procedures such as left atrial appendage closure, lead extraction, and laser use
- check_circleMaintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols
- check_circleAdminister conscious sedation during electrophysiology procedures
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 3 years of nursing experience in an electrophysiology lab or related field
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification required
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification required
- verifiedFamiliarity with Epic (CUPID) charting systems
