Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department and Trauma unit
- check_circleManage a patient assignment at a 1:4 ratio across acute and subacute care areas
- check_circleMonitor patients using telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac strips as needed
- check_circlePerform sterile field procedures including Foley catheter and port-a-cath insertion
- check_circleParticipate in unit float coverage across multiple emergency department locations
- check_circleComplete required orientation activities including SIMs Lab skills assessments
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN licensure in good standing
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- verifiedAt least 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- verifiedProficiency with Cerner EMR
- verifiedMust possess own reliable transportation
Nice to Have
TNCC and/or ATCN certification. Experience with high-acuity patient populations including trauma, cardiac, spinal cord, and psychiatric holds. Familiarity with Phillips telemetry monitoring systems.
