About the Role
As a Travel CVOR Registered Nurse, you will serve as a vital member of the perioperative team, delivering specialized care for cardiovascular surgery patients across the country. Whether functioning as a circulator or a scrub nurse, your role is central to ensuring safe, efficient procedures and excellent patient outcomes. - check_circleProvide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients as circulator and/or scrub nurse
- check_circlePrepare, assess, and position patients for complex CVOR procedures
- check_circleMonitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- check_circleMaintain strict sterile technique and manage CVOR instruments and supplies
- check_circleCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- check_circleDocument care accurately in EMR according to facility and regulatory standards
- check_circleEducate patients and families on procedures and post-operative expectations
- check_circleAdapt quickly to new hospital environments and CVOR protocols while on travel assignments
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS certification
- verifiedMinimum 2 years recent CVOR RN experience
