About the Role

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room. In this on-site role, you will circulate and scrub for complex open-heart and vascular procedures, closely monitor hemodynamics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient surgeries.

You will provide direct nursing care to CVOR patients before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures. Your day will involve maintaining strict sterile technique while managing intraoperative patient assessments and coordinating post-anesthesia recovery. As a key member of the surgical team, you will work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to navigate complex cases, responding rapidly to changes in patient condition and administering medications with precision.

Beyond clinical duties, this role emphasizes patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and post-op care. You will also participate in continuous education and performance improvement initiatives to support optimal outcomes and adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
