About the Role
The Trauma Coordinator serves as a clinical expert and leader within our healthcare system, assessing, planning, and implementing patient care while collaborating across departments to ensure excellence aligned with our mission and values. This role is pivotal in integrating departmental improvement goals across the care continuum, ensuring that nursing projects and team efforts deliver safe, cost-effective, and evidence-based care.
In this position, you will act as a technical resource for trauma care, assisting with the establishment of priorities and interventions. You will coordinate the nursing aspects of the trauma program alongside the Nurse Manager and Chief Nursing Officer, while also serving as a dedicated educator by developing and coordinating staff training, including ENPC and TNCC courses. Your day-to-day impact involves mentoring staff, driving quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining the integrity of our trauma registry data.
