About the Role
This position offers a PRN career opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team at the Main Campus (2901 W. Swann Avenue, Tampa, FL). The role is designed for those seeking meaningful work where excellent people make excellence happen. In this capacity, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with state and specialty standards. Working in collaboration with medical providers and the broader care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
Your day will involve serving as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while anticipating needs and resolving them proactively. You will assess and manage patient pain, perform procedures as ordered, and document care thoroughly. A key part of your mission is to translate complex medical terminology for patients and families, teaching them about their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes to prepare them for future self-management. This role is vital to supporting an unparalleled patient experience and contributing to outstanding clinical outcomes.

Requirements
- verifiedLicensed Florida Registered Nurse or compact licensure with active FL RN within 60 days

- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification required within 6 months
- verifiedCurrent PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months
- verifiedCurrent NIHSS, TNCC, CPI training required within 6 months
- verifiedNational Board Certification (CEN, CPEN) highly preferred
