About the Team
An industry-leading, multi-disciplinary team is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join their Columbus-based operations. This role is integral to delivering high-quality roadway and highway improvement projects that serve the community.
About the Role
As a Transportation Engineer, you will lead the design and development of various infrastructure projects. Your day-to-day work involves creating horizontal and vertical alignments, performing complex engineering calculations, and executing comprehensive design aspects including drainage, maintenance of traffic, pavement marking, and signing. You will prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates while utilizing your technical expertise to evaluate and modify engineering standards and procedures. The position also includes periodic site visits and occasional communication with clients and sub-consultants, as well as assisting with Requests for Information during the construction phase.
