About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer for our Highway/Traffic department, based in our Newark or Wall, NJ offices. In this role, you will serve as a technical resource for junior engineers and designers while managing the end-to-end delivery of roadway and highway projects. You will partner with internal disciplines—including civil, traffic, structural, environmental, and utility teams—to ensure seamless project execution.

Your day will involve preparing and overseeing design plans, specifications, and cost estimates, while performing geometric design, grading, and drainage coordination. You will act as a bridge between our firm and public agencies, including state agencies, counties, and municipalities, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal design standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of county and municipal projects, including those that are state or federally funded, while contributing to business development and proposal preparation efforts.
