About the Role
This position serves as a critical liaison for internal customer support within the private fleet operations. You will be responsible for the daily and weekly maintenance of pallet tracking, auditing driver logs and trip reports, and ensuring all DOT requirements for logs and driver files are met. A key part of your day involves tracking all return goods as directed by customers to ensure the close-out of returns is handled efficiently.
Beyond these core logistics duties, you will handle a variety of office and administrative tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, billing, and database maintenance. You will also manage the maintenance and distribution of route books, interact daily with drivers to assist with vacation coverage and overflow freight, and coordinate with the Safety team as required. Flexibility to prioritize workload and adjust to position requirements is essential, as is the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
