This position serves as a critical liaison for internal customer support within the Marion, OH operations. You will be responsible for the daily and weekly maintenance of pallet tracking, auditing driver logs and trip reports, and ensuring all DOT requirements for logs and driver files are met. A key part of the role involves tracking all return goods as directed by customers to facilitate the close-out of returns from the private fleet.
In this capacity, you will manage various office and administrative duties, including handling accounts payable/receivable, collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, billing, and database maintenance. You will also maintain and distribute route books, interface daily with drivers, and assist with driver coverage for vacations and overflow freight. The role requires prioritizing workload with the flexibility to adjust based on position requirements while maintaining strict confidentiality. You will be expected to involve the Safety team as required by location protocols and handle driver equipment requests.
