Harmar Mobility is a Great Place to Work-certified company dedicated to a singular purpose: to lift lives. We manufacture mobility device lifts for vehicles and accessibility products that empower individuals with mobility difficulties to enjoy their independence. Whether at home or on the road, our mission is to help our team, our network of dealers, and our communities continue to make meaningful memories.
We foster a culture where opinions and ideas are strongly valued, offering a fulfilling environment for those seeking opportunities to grow and enhance their craft. Our core values—Team Player, Gets Stuff Done, Can-do Attitude, Genuinely Cares, Does the Right Thing, and Embraces Inclusion—guide our commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive environment.
The Training Specialist serves as a vital bridge between our technical products and the people who install and service them. This role is designed for a hands-on facilitator who thrives in dynamic learning environments. You will not only deliver assigned technical training sessions but also support the Training Manager in the continuous improvement of Harmar's training programs.
Your day will involve leading portions of classes, facilitating hands-on exercises, and representing Harmar professionally in front of learners. You will co-facilitate instructor-led installation training, provide real-time coaching during installation activities, and assist with demonstrations of tools, equipment, and mechanical components. The role requires a blend of administrative precision and field readiness, as you will prepare materials, manage training equipment, and occasionally travel to dealer or partner locations for on-site events.
Training is delivered through multiple formats, including in-person instruction at our Sarasota, FL headquarters, virtual classes, and occasional field support. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, a willingness to develop as a facilitator, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in practical, learner-friendly terms.
We are looking for candidates who align with our core values and demonstrate a growth mindset. If you are ready to join a team that values your contributions and supports your professional development, we encourage you to apply.
