About the Role
When users try new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development, necessitating rigorous testing. As a Test Engineer on our team, you will partner with engineers to evaluate software developed for the customer's mission. Your day will involve creating test plans and cases based on user stories, then utilizing both automated and manual processes to generate data and observe system performance.
You will document results and communicate defects to the development team to drive continuous improvement. This role offers a unique opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing code for testing while broadening your experience in mission-critical systems. You will gain exposure to new areas such as automation, cloud, and AI, all while contributing to software solutions that strengthen our nation's security.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a quality assurance/testing role. Bachelor's degree.
