GovCIO is seeking a QA Engineer to join a fast-paced, fully remote team serving a federal government client. This customer-facing position is instrumental in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining rigorous quality standards for complex, multi-tier distributed applications.
In this role, you will thrive by bridging the gap between technical development and client expectations. You will work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive test plans throughout the full software lifecycle. Your day-to-day involves proactively investigating potential security vulnerabilities and attack vectors, resolving critical defects, and communicating effectively with federal clients, developers, and program managers.
Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate their experience in manual testing within a federal government environment. The selection process focuses on verifying hands-on expertise with government contracting standards and technical proficiency in tools such as Jira and AWS.
