Established in 2018, Bridges of Colorado places Service Professionals across the state's 23 judicial districts to serve defendants with significant mental health needs. With individuals facing high-acuity mental health challenges being ten times more likely to be jailed than hospitalized, Bridges addresses this disparity by focusing on the whole person. Our mission is rooted in person-centered advocacy, centering the lived experiences and voices of participants to ensure their behavioral health best interests are met. We are a promising practice designed to promote positive outcomes through solution-focused, collaborative approaches that uphold the inherent worth and dignity of every individual.
The Training and Communications Manager serves as a vital architect of our organizational culture and learning ecosystem. This role exists to ensure that every team member, from leadership to service professionals, is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and mindset required to deliver on our mission. You will be the bridge between our core values—Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Collaborative—and our daily operations.
In this dynamic position, you will design and maintain our learning management system, curate educational tracks for diverse job classifications, and manage the employee handbook. Your work will directly influence how we communicate internally and externally, from drafting legislative reports to coordinating newsletters and managing our brand identity. You will analyze the effectiveness of our training initiatives through metrics and feedback, ensuring our programs evolve to meet the needs of a fast-paced, decentralized environment. This is not just a role of execution; it is an opportunity to proactively shape the scope of the position, adapting to the evolving needs of the Office of Bridges of Colorado.
At Bridges, we deeply value lived experience in all forms. We recognize that formal education and work history do not tell the whole story. If you have been formally justice-involved or have significant experiences within the criminal justice and behavioral health systems, we want to hear from you. Your unique perspective is a vital asset to our team. Please reach out to our People & Culture Director to discuss how your lived experience may be considered as a substitution for minimum qualifications.
To apply, please submit a resume, a cover letter, and a list of three references (two of which must be professional) via the application portal. Incomplete applications will not be considered. If you have questions or require assistance with the application process, please contact Jori Dovey at jori.dovey@bridgesofcolorado.gov.
Successful candidates must be willing to submit to a routine background investigation, including a criminal history check, and must be eligible to work in the United States. If offered employment, you must be a current resident of Colorado or become a resident within 30 days of your hire date.
