We are a growing repossession company based in the Philadelphia market, seeking motivated drivers to join our team of Tow Truck Drivers.
About the Role
This is a full-time overnight driving position with an 8-hour shift between the hours of 9pm and 9am. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will assist in securing vehicles that are due to be repossessed. Your day will involve safely operating company vehicles within the coverage area, ensuring your truck is in working order with all proper equipment before each shift, and utilizing the RepoReport system to locate vehicles and access critical notes and photos provided by Repossession Investigators.
Once a unit is found, you will verify the vehicle identification number (VIN) against the valid repossession order before proceeding. After successfully repossessing the vehicle, you are responsible for reporting the recovery to the local police department (specifically the district where the vehicle was recovered in Philadelphia County), completing the necessary police report (Form 48), and towing the unit back to the IRS yard.
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates must have wrecker driving experience, a clean driving record, no criminal convictions, and be willing to submit to random and pre-employment drug screenings. Applicants must be 23 years or older due to insurance regulations and possess a Medical DOT card or be willing to obtain one prior to the start date.
