The Iowa Health Care Department of Engineering Services is seeking a TMA Administrator to serve as a critical bridge between facilities operations and technology. This role exists to maintain, extrapolate, and analyze data from the department's Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and related applications, ensuring that space and equipment inventory remain current and accurate.
You will develop an operational understanding of critical facilities systems and existing workflows, participating in the design, testing, and validation of new processes to enhance application depth and customer support abilities. A key part of your mission is creating effective interfaces between multiple facilities software systems to streamline communication. You will work independently to triage service requests, define tasks, and research software and hardware options, while also supporting integrated data needs across facilities and HCIS systems.
In this position, you will coordinate with the Engineering Services, Environmental Services, Guest Services, and other department teams to ensure urgent needs are met. You will provide just-in-time workflow and technology support at the point-of-care for complex issues, develop training materials, and deliver 1:1 or small group training to ensure successful system adoption.
This role primarily operates on a regular shift from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. However, flexibility is required as the position may occasionally require work outside of regular scheduled hours to cover earlier shifts or address urgent operational needs. The TMA Administrator reports directly to the Facility Manager.
To be considered for this position, applicants must upload a resume under the relevant materials section. Job openings are posted for a minimum of 7 calendar days, though the position may be filled at any time after this period ends. Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check. Please note that this position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
