Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is a designated organ procurement organization (OPO) within the state of Tennessee and a proud member of the DCI Donor Services family. For over four decades, DCI has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
DCI operates organ procurement and tissue recovery organizations, including Sierra Donor Services and Tennessee Donor Services, with operations in California, New Mexico, and Tennessee. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us in the role of Tissue Recovery Coordinator. This position is vital to our mission of saving lives through organ and tissue donation. You will oversee the activities of the Tissue Team, ensuring the team follows all policies, procedures, and protocols in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of our operations, you will coordinate the tissue recovery procurement process, serving as a resource and advisor to internal team members. You will lead recovery team efforts for donated cadaveric human tissue, including bone, skin, corneas, blood vessels, nerves, and heart valves. This role requires maintaining clear communication with leadership and peers while ensuring compliance with regulatory accreditation agencies and internal quality processes.
