Alcanza is a growing multi-site, multi-phase clinical research company with a network of locations across the United States and Puerto Rico. We have established a strong presence across Phase I-IV studies and several therapeutic areas, including vaccine, neurology, dermatology, psychiatry, and general medicine. We are dedicated to advancing medical science and are currently expanding our operations.
The Patient Liaison serves as a vital bridge between clinical research sites and the community, ensuring a smooth and efficient enrollment process for clinical trials. In this role, you will support onsite patient recruitment by conducting pre-qualification, pre-screening, and scheduling activities. Your day-to-day involves evaluating patient eligibility through screening interviews and medical record reviews, while actively managing the patient journey from initial contact to study enrollment.
You will be responsible for optimizing the onsite screening visit schedule, managing no-shows, and resolving barriers to study entry by leveraging support services such as transportation assistance. Beyond direct patient interaction, you will represent the company to healthcare provider referral partners and participate in local community outreach events to educate patients about clinical trials. This position requires a high degree of autonomy, as you will drive regional recruitment results and collaborate with leadership to overcome challenges in the screening process.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a standard interview process to assess their fit for our team and their ability to handle the responsibilities of patient liaison work. Please note that specific steps and timelines may vary based on the hiring manager's schedule.
Alcanza is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.
