About the Team
Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is a designated organ procurement organization (OPO) within the state of Tennessee and a proud member of the DCI Donor Services family. For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
We operate organ procurement and tissue recovery organizations, including Sierra Donor Services and Tennessee Donor Services, with operations in California, New Mexico, and Tennessee. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Our performance is measured by the way we serve donor families and recipients; to be successful in this endeavor is our ultimate mission.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate the tissue recovery procurement process including communication with hospitals and funeral homes
- check_circleLead recovery team efforts for donated cadaveric human tissue such as bone, skin, and corneas
- check_circleServe as a resource and advisor to internal team members for completing recovery procedures
- check_circleParticipate in tissue recovery and donor restoration as appropriate
- check_circleMaintain compliance with regulatory accreditation agencies and internal quality processes
- check_circleOversee Tissue Team activities to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and protocols
- check_circleEnsure clear communication with leadership and peers regarding recovery activities
Requirements
