The Outpatient Therapist I is dedicated to delivering high-quality psychosocial assessments and psychotherapy to individuals navigating mental illness, behavioral challenges, and substance misuse. This position serves as a vital link in the continuum of care, operating across diverse settings including clinics, community environments, and homes.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary internal team—including case managers, peer support specialists, and psychiatry providers—as well as external partners such as DCBS, courts, and schools. The role focuses on supporting general outpatient, co-occurring, and specialty populations, ranging from youth and first-episode psychosis to adults with dual diagnoses.
Your work involves conducting clinical evaluations, diagnostic screenings, and evidence-based therapy sessions (individual, family, group, and psychoeducation) under appropriate supervision. You will engage in intake and orientation activities, assist in crisis response and safety planning, and help develop person-centered recovery treatment plans. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record and participating in treatment team meetings to ensure continuity of care across programs.
We are committed to a culture defined by five core values that guide every interaction and decision:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a mental health field and be licensed or license-eligible in Kentucky. Please note that this role requires a clean criminal record and sexual offender registry check. We look for professionals who can work independently while thriving in a supervised, team-oriented environment.
