This position serves as a vital clinical partner within a multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for adult and child members. The role exists to ensure that individuals presenting with a broad spectrum of psychiatric needs receive coordinated, evidence-based care that addresses their acute and chronic conditions.
In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with treating physicians, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to plan and direct individualized treatment programs. Your day-to-day involves conducting outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, while also providing crucial support and education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic and medication adherence. The role extends to developing and leading psychoeducational classes and utilizing community resources to meet the holistic needs of members.
Beyond direct clinical care, this position plays a key role in the department's ecosystem by offering clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns, postdoctoral residents, and other trainees. You will also contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring that services align with state regulations, NCQA standards, and accepted community practices. Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity. Demonstrated commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic. Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner. Accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans. Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
