About the Role
As a Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician, you will play a vital role in helping our clients develop life skills and engage in meaningful recreational activities. You will work independently in your assigned location or region, traveling to client sites to facilitate interventions tailored to each individual's age, cultural background, developmental stage, and specific needs.
In this role, you will serve as a role model by demonstrating and engaging in activities alongside clients to promote positive lifestyle skills. You will collaborate closely with the Treatment Team and Therapeutic Recreation Program Director (TRPD) to observe client responses, document outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and assist in formulating transition or discharge plans. This position is ideal for someone looking for a rewarding career where they can make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
Compensation and Growth
AWARE therapeutic recreation service technicians earn $17.75 per hour.
