Our industry-leading TWTs and Electronic Power Conditioners (EPCs) enable spacecraft missions, while our terrestrial TWTs and Microwave Power Modules (MPMs) power essential applications in RF communications, electronic warfare, and radar, producing approximately 2,000 units annually.
We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our onsite Test Engineering group in Torrance, CA. As a critical technical contributor, you will support the development, manufacturing, and testing of complex hardware including TWTs, EPCs, MPMs, and Xenon Ion Thruster Systems (XIPS). In this position, you will not only support production testing and equipment needs but also drive the development of new test setups and processes. You will automate legacy and new test equipment, coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades, and execute capital equipment proposals. A key part of your day will involve running technical investigations for production issues, observing and resolving manufacturing errors, and providing strategic guidance during customer meetings. You will work closely with program managers, engineers from various disciplines, and manufacturing personnel to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.
