We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Hardware Engineer Lead to join our team in Marlborough, MA. This senior-level position is designed for a professional with a deep understanding of hardware engineering principles and extensive experience in the secure communications domain. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced protected communication systems, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and security.
In this role, you will oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept through production and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, systems, and test engineering, to deliver integrated solutions that meet rigorous customer requirements. Beyond technical execution, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will also interface directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure satisfaction with delivered products.

This position is onsite at our Marlborough, MA facility. Employees in onsite roles work primarily on-site, as they are essential to the development of our products. Experience with military and commercial secure communication standards and protocols. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles as they apply to hardware design and implementation. Knowledge of environmental testing and qualification processes for communication hardware. Previous experience working in a defense or aerospace company. Active SECRET Security Clearance or HIGHER.
