As a Territory Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for a diverse book of commercial and industrial accounts. Your mission is to match prospect needs with Waste Connections' comprehensive services, securing long-term partnerships through a consultative selling approach. You will be responsible for prospecting and closing major accounts to achieve targeted sales goals while developing strategies that ensure revenue growth and profitability at the district level.
In this role, approximately 60-70% of your time will be spent in the field within your designated territory, actively prospecting and exploring new market opportunities. The remaining time will be dedicated to strategic planning, team building, and managing existing accounts. You will conduct waste stream analyses to identify volumes and opportunities for recycling or special handling, while also serving as the main liaison for customer concerns and contract renewals.
