About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to lead our Seekonk, MA territory. This role is designed for an individual capable of matching prospect needs to our comprehensive waste services through a consultative selling approach. You will be responsible for securing long-term partnerships with large, complex accounts while driving revenue growth and profitability at the district level.
In this position, you will act as the primary point of contact for a book of commercial and industrial accounts. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of field work and strategic planning, with approximately 60-70% of your time spent in the territory prospecting and exploring market opportunities. The remaining time will be dedicated to team building, strategic planning, and account management with internal teams. You will conduct waste stream analysis, manage contract re-signs, and build relationships through participation in community events, trade shows, and chamber of commerce activities.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleExecute cold calls to influence potential commercial customers into setting appointments
- check_circleManage a book of business for commercial and industrial accounts as the main point of contact
- check_circleGather contract expiration dates and document customer concerns to satisfy service requests
- check_circlePerform contractual re-signs by building long-term customer relationships and increasing profitability
- check_circleBuild relationships and increase company visibility through trade shows and chamber of commerce events
- check_circleConduct waste stream analysis to estimate volumes and identify recycling or special handling needs
- check_circlePrepare proposals and utilize Salesforce CRM tool ARES for account management
Requirements
- verified2 years outside sales/B2B experience preferred
- verifiedSolid Waste industry experience a plus
- verifiedReliable transportation required
