Are you looking to give back to your community and youth rather than just shareholders? This position is designed for a self-starter who naturally draws people in, motivates teams, and thrives on the freedom to bring about change. As a District Executive (Territory Manager), you will bridge the gap between strategic vision and mission execution, helping to grow the Greater St. Louis Area Council's 63-county territory.
You will take ownership of a designated district, focusing on finance, membership, and volunteer development. This is a career dedicated to helping others, offering independence, achievement, and stability. While a Scouting background is helpful, it is not required. The role covers Chesterfield, Missouri, and the surrounding area, offering a flexible schedule without a traditional "clock-in" requirement.
As a professional Scouter, you will excel at building relationships, managing sales and marketing efforts, and providing excellent customer service. You will interact with diverse audiences, including adult volunteers, community leaders, and business representatives. Success in this role requires strong time-management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to achieve positive objectives. You will also travel for training at least once a year.
Offers for employment are subject to criminal, reference, and motor vehicle background checks. Candidates must be willing to accept and meet Scouting America's leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law.
We are looking for a forward-thinking, results-focused professional who likes to win. The District Executive team is diverse, sharing a dynamic career path. Comprehensive professional training opportunities are provided during the first three years of tenure, with annual development continuing throughout your career.
