Alliant Insurance is seeking an Insurance Wholesaler (internally titled Internal Marketing Consultant) to join our Annuity Department within the Senior Market Sales office in Omaha, NE. This role is pivotal in promoting our product portfolio and driving revenue growth by supporting our network of agents and agencies.
As an Internal Marketing Consultant, you will serve as the primary bridge between Alliant and our agent partners. Your day-to-day involves managing a high volume of communications—typically 50 to 100 calls daily—to provide comprehensive support on product information, rate changes, and key benefits. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching agents to help them reach their highest production levels, while also identifying top producers and resolving complex issues ranging from contracting and certification to electronic signature transactions.
The role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including specific product lines, compliance reporting rules, and sales requirements. You will maintain the Team Roster, manage contact systems, and utilize tools like Who Quit Writing and MGA reports to ensure smooth operations. While direct communication with end consumers is generally restricted to preserve the agent relationship, you may provide specific product support under supervisor approval. This position is a hybrid of technical support, sales coaching, and strategic marketing, requiring you to be a self-starter who can navigate multiple urgent requests with organization and professionalism.
Interested candidates should apply directly through the Alliant Insurance career portal. The application process typically involves a review of qualifications followed by an interview to assess industry knowledge and cultural fit.
Alliant Insurance is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
