This is a high-velocity sales position designed for a hunter who thrives in a competitive, goal-oriented environment. You will operate within a defined territory, leveraging a prioritized call list to prospect and win net new small to medium business customers. Your day will be a dynamic mix of remote and in-person engagement. You will utilize phone, video, and face-to-face interactions to connect with decision-makers, uncovering their incremental and programmatic needs. By acting as a consultant, you will communicate Staples' value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments to create sticky accounts that continue to purchase from us. Success in this role requires a strong drive to win, the ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity, and the discipline to function independently while collaborating closely with category specialists and support teams to progress deals from prospect to closed won.
