About the Role

This is a high-velocity sales position designed for a hunter who thrives in a competitive, goal-oriented environment. You will operate within a defined territory, leveraging a prioritized call list to prospect and win net new small to medium business customers. The role is not just about closing deals; it is about building a foundation for long-term growth by ramping and onboarding new accounts to expand our customer base.

Your day will be a dynamic mix of remote and in-person engagement. You will utilize phone, video, and face-to-face interactions to connect with decision-makers, uncovering their incremental and programmatic needs. By acting as a consultant, you will communicate Staples' value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments to create sticky accounts that continue to purchase from us. Success in this role requires a strong drive to win, the ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity, and the discipline to function independently while collaborating closely with category specialists and support teams to progress deals from prospect to closed won.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will move through a structured interview process designed to assess both sales acumen and cultural fit. The journey typically includes an initial screening to discuss background and motivation, followed by a deeper dive into sales scenarios and problem-solving capabilities. Requirements
