ASRC Federal Communications is seeking a Temporary Electrician for our ISS2 contract supporting our Air Force customer. This position is located at Eareckson Air Station (EAS) in Shemya, AK.
This is a rotational position where the selected employee will work a schedule of 3 months on shift at a time, followed by 1 month off. The role involves providing installation, alteration, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials within the electrical construction industry, specifically working with power generation and large area power distribution.
While working on-site, housing is provided in the form of a dormitory facility, and all meals are furnished through the cafeteria. Transportation to EAS from Anchorage, AK is provided by government-sponsored aircraft.
This is a negotiated union position. The temporary assignment will last up to 90 days. Candidates must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. The selection process includes a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
