Cecelia Health is a virtual specialty medical practice dedicated to improving cardiometabolic health outcomes across populations. We connect patients living with one or more chronic conditions to an expert clinician who helps them navigate day-to-day health management.
We are tackling the obesity epidemic by helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy weight, with or without medication. Our clinician-centered philosophy places you at the core of what we do, ensuring your feedback is taken seriously. You will build long-term, life-changing relationships with patients to help them achieve lasting, transformative results.
We foster a collaborative culture where you work alongside some of the best in the business in a supporting and learning-focused environment. To support your professional growth, we provide an annual CEU stipend for continuing education.
In this role, you will serve as a vital link for patients navigating complex health challenges. You will conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education through various digital channels, including phone, video, chat, text, and email. Your work involves providing medication management and support for comorbidities related to obesity under the supervision of assigned physicians, as well as engaging in remote patient monitoring for devices such as scales, blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, and ketone meters.
You will support patients with dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols, collaborating with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care. A key part of your day will involve quickly establishing rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse patient population, utilizing motivational interviewing and other techniques to support behavior change. You will be expected to consistently meet program metrics while maintaining high-quality care standards and completing all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
We offer a flexible schedule allowing you to work virtually as an Independent contractor (1099) and set your own hours, with a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week. We require a HIPAA-friendly workspace with high-speed internet to ensure secure patient conversations. This position is designed for clinicians who cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere and must reside in the United States.
Cecelia Health does not discriminate in employment or applications for employment based on an applicant's sex, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, service in the armed forces of the United States, disability, or any other protected classification as outlined by Federal, State or local laws.
