As a Teens Make Health Happen (TMHH) Mentor, you will join us in Philadelphia, PA, and Wilmington, DE, to help teens make healthier choices, build leadership skills, and create community change. This flexible, hands-on opportunity is designed for students interested in public health, education, psychology, social work, nutrition, biology, marketing, public policy, and more.
In this role, you will lead wellness clubs in local middle and high schools, mentoring students on wellness, leadership, and community projects. You will support student-led activities such as step challenges, lunchtime demos, and school improvement events. Beyond the classroom, you will build relationships with school staff and teen wellness leaders, host monthly "Café O'Yea" wellness demonstrations, and represent HealthCorps at school and community events. This position offers a unique chance to gain real-world public health and education program experience while making a meaningful impact on youth.
