As a Technology Installation Manager within Global Technology, you will provide total ownership to coordinate and support the installation of retail technology for new and existing stores, as well as relocations and renovations. This role requires a unique blend of proficiency in retail infrastructure, hardware configuration, store design, procurement, and project management.
You will focus on continuous process improvement through effective collaboration across various technology and business functions. Technology Installation Managers partner closely with Starbucks Technology and key business stakeholders on project planning, execution, and delivery. Beyond delivering new technology and enhancing existing systems, you will contribute relevant technical and functional expertise, negotiate alignment with Operations and Store Development, and coach and mentor analysts supporting tactical checkout and installation processes.
In this position, you will leverage an Agile mindset to create efficiencies across all team processes, ensuring that the overall user technology experience is thoughtfully considered. You will work independently with regular guidance from leadership, managing assigned projects with a clear understanding of the business and technology context while ensuring project status reports are relevant, transparent, and valuable.
