The Pipeline Technician is essential to maintaining the safe and productive operation of our natural gas and liquid transmission pipelines and associated equipment. This role involves a dynamic day-to-day environment where you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components such as compressors, pumps, valves, and electronic controls. You will serve as a key member of the operational team, ensuring compliance with rigorous state and federal regulations while managing facility appearance and safety through diligent housekeeping practices.
In this position, you will interface with various stakeholders, including private, state, and federal landowners, and participate in damage prevention meetings. The role requires adaptability to work both indoors and outdoors in industrial settings, often navigating temperature extremes and potentially hazardous conditions. You will be responsible for monitoring NGL receipt and delivery activities, overseeing excavations, and managing corrosion control equipment, ensuring the integrity of our critical energy infrastructure.

VoTech certificate or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Oil & Gas technical field or related work experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in the operation, maintenance, and/or construction of a hazardous liquid or gas pipeline facility, or a similar facility/system. Experience and knowledge of industry-related maintenance and repair standards. Knowledge of turbine engines, centrifugal pumps, regulators, motor operated valves, electronic controls and medium electrical voltage with an understanding of NGL or gas pipelines.
