About the Role
This position is designed for individuals whose actions lead to success and whose expertise drives the team forward. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of our plant operations, ensuring machinery and equipment run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will implement preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and maintain building systems to support continuous production.
Your day-to-day involves a blend of hands-on technical work and strategic problem-solving. You will read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, perform calibrations, and execute repairs on production equipment ranging from boilers to compressed air systems. Beyond technical tasks, you are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by identifying and fixing safety hazards, adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations, and upholding strict housekeeping standards.
Success in this role requires a versatile skill set. You will utilize electronic systems like Prism, Wonderware, and SharePoint to manage work orders and retrieve information, while also applying your knowledge of CMMS software to track maintenance activities. Whether working independently on a specific project or collaborating within a team, you will apply your experience in electrical wiring, welding, HVAC, pipe fitting, or hydraulics to solve work-related problems and drive operational excellence.
