About the Role
This position is designed for individuals whose actions directly lead to operational success. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of our production floor, responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical machinery and mechanical equipment. Your expertise drives our efficiency by ensuring that production lines remain operational and safe.
You will implement preventive maintenance programs as directed by management, performing routine checks on both production machinery and building equipment. The role requires a hands-on approach to identifying and fixing potential safety hazards to prevent injuries, while strictly adhering to safety practices and maintaining high housekeeping standards. You will also assist in various project work as assigned and ensure all activities align with applicable quality system procedures.
Who You Are
We are looking for a self-motivated craftsman with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electromechanics or maintenance. You should possess board certification or equivalent experience in fields such as electrical wiring, welding, HVAC maintenance, pipe fitting, or hydraulics. Your skill set must include excellent abilities in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including the repair of production equipment, metal milling, boiler servicing, and troubleshooting of compressed air systems.
Physically, you must be capable of lifting 50 pounds, working on ladders or scaffolding, and navigating confined spaces. Beyond technical skills, you need strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively within a team environment with limited supervision.
