About the Role

The Technical Sales Executive is a results-driven partner dedicated to driving sales and expanding our customer base within the ever-evolving Life Safety industry. This role serves as the bridge between complex technical needs and winning solutions. You will engage with potential commercial clients to understand their specific requirements, leveraging deep product knowledge of top manufacturers like Siemens, Honeywell, Bosch, and Genetec to craft accurate proposals and bids.

Success in this position requires more than just closing deals; it involves a commitment to world-class service and continuous growth. You will collaborate closely with a tight-knit team of product specialists and industry thought leaders, while working hand-in-hand with our Project Managers to ensure the successful completion of every contracted job. The role demands a proactive approach to staying current with Life Safety technology through trade shows, conferences, and manufacturer certifications.

Day in the Life

Your work will be a dynamic mix of strategic planning and on-the-ground execution. You will spend time interpreting blueprints and low-voltage system architecture to build precise equipment lists, while conducting presentations for potential customers and electrical engineers. A significant portion of your time will be spent traveling to client sites throughout Pennsylvania to build relationships and assess needs. You will be supported by a company vehicle, a laptop, a tablet, and a company-paid iPhone, ensuring you have the tools necessary to operate effectively from your "home base" in Reading, PA, or anywhere in the state.
