SMX is a team of technical and domain experts dedicated to enabling critical missions, from priority national security initiatives for the Department of Defense to highly assured solutions for healthcare. We understand that digital transformation is key to future success and strive to accelerate impact on the world by bringing cutting-edge technology and an expansive view of what's possible to every engagement.
As the Technical Integration & Data Management Subject Matter Expert, you will ensure the seamless integration of Special Operations Command, Pacific (SOCPAC) staff and subordinate element inputs across command enterprise systems. This role is pivotal as SOCPAC modernizes its digital infrastructure, transitioning Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAI) management from the Joint Staff mandated C2IE system to MAVEN Smart Systems (MSS).
You will act as the central authority for command data visualization and synchronization. Your day-to-day involves leading SOCPAC staff and subordinate units through the entire OAI lifecycle—spanning planning, preparation, execution, and assessment. You will organize and drive the SOCPAC Tech Integration Working Group to align technological initiatives across the command, ensuring standardized data input regardless of the underlying software system. Additionally, you will serve as the primary liaison with USINDOPACOM system representatives for program upgrades and issue resolution, providing surge support to the Combined Special Operations Campaign Conference as required.
Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation and/or education verification. Please note that this position requires a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, which necessitates US citizenship for work on DoD contracts. Applications must be submitted by May 25, 2026.
