ASTRO, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, is a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a difference in the U.S. healthcare landscape. We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual with a love for lifelong learning and medical education programming to join our team.
As the Education Program Coordinator, you will support ASTRO's Professional Development team under the direction of the Senior Education Program Manager. This position is central to coordinating and providing support for the education and scientific components of the Society's live, in-person meeting offerings, including the Annual Meeting and Specialty Meetings.
You will serve as a key liaison for speaker management, handling communications before, during, and after meetings. Your day-to-day will involve updating website content, managing technology tools, and ensuring the seamless execution of conference logistics. From processing speaker benefits and maintaining ACCME documentation to creating tech scripts for AV companies, you will ensure that every educational session is delivered with precision and professionalism.
ASTRO offers a hybrid work environment. This position is based at our headquarters in Arlington, VA, and is eligible for immediate telework up to three days per week following an initial training period.
