The Field Service Technician serves as a critical technical resource for the North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa territory. This role is designed to resolve, identify, and support various outdoor power equipment products, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability. You will act as the primary point of contact for dealer and customer technical inquiries, handling support calls, emails, and on-site visits to diagnose and repair Scag Power Equipment.
A significant portion of this position involves traveling up to 75% during peak seasons to assist with machine troubleshooting, parts questions, and warranty concerns. Beyond direct repairs, you will play a vital role in training dealers through seminars and assisting in the development of training materials. You will also collaborate with Territory Sales Managers, engineering, and research teams to improve existing programs and address field requests.
