About the Job
This opportunity is designed for Owner Operators working in teams to handle Over-The-Road (OTR) refrigerated freight. The role focuses on LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) operations where drivers are not required to perform loading or unloading duties. Drivers receive a gross average of $12,000 per week per team, paid weekly, along with a paid fuel surcharge. The typical route averages 7,000 miles per week per team.
Home Time
The schedule expects drivers to be out for approximately 7 days at a time. While the baseline expectation is 7 days out, drivers have the flexibility to stay on the road longer if they choose. The schedule ensures that teams return home for at least two weekends per month.
Equipment Requirements
There is no maximum age limit for the trucks used in this position. However, overdimensional trucks are not permitted for this role.
Hiring Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Class A license without specific restrictions, including (L) or (Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, or (K) Intrastate Only. Additionally, applicants must possess at least 12 months of Tractor Trailer experience.
