Methodist Health System's Healthcare & Medical Services department is dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Our culture is built on a foundation of integrity, compassion, and accountability, ensuring that every team member and patient is supported through collaborative efforts.
As a Team Leader MRI, you will serve as the operational anchor for our MRI nursing services. This role exists to coordinate complex patient care activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency while bridging the gap between nursing staff, radiologists, technologists, and emergency teams. You will not only supervise and mentor a diverse team of nurses and support staff but also actively participate in critical and emergent cases, applying advanced clinical skills to support patient well-being.
In this position, you will foster a collaborative team culture where accountability thrives. Your day will involve overseeing daily patient care workflows, ensuring rigorous adherence to MRI safety protocols, and managing the coordination of cases to optimize patient throughput. You will be a key educator for patients and families, guiding them through procedures and post-care expectations, while simultaneously driving quality improvement initiatives and staff competency validation.
Interested candidates are invited to apply directly through the Methodist Health System careers portal. The selection process typically involves a review of qualifications, followed by interviews with department leadership to assess clinical expertise, leadership potential, and cultural fit.
