About the School

Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, PreK-12 college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York. About the Teaching Fellows Program

The Teaching Fellows Program is a one- or two-year commitment designed for well-qualified college graduates. This role offers aspiring teachers the unique opportunity to work at Rye Country Day School while simultaneously earning a Master's degree. The program is open to all qualified applicants, with a special encouragement for candidates from underrepresented communities to apply.

Application Instructions

Interested candidates should submit the following documents via email to HR@ryecountryday.org:

  • College transcript
  • Two letters of recommendation (one from a college professor or advisor)
  • Updated resume
  • Written responses to the following questions:
    • Why are you interested in the teaching/education profession?
    • What age groups are you most comfortable teaching and why?
    • In what subject or discipline do you wish to pursue a Teaching Fellowship, and why? Describe any relevant background (undergraduate training, prior teaching experience, etc.) you have in this area.
    • What do you hope to gain from an RCDS Teaching Fellowship?
