The Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring and promoting a safe, positive, and therapeutic learning environment. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about caring for, supervising, and counseling students while managing crises and emergencies. You will be an integral part of the team overseeing program functions and implementing Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your day-to-day work involves maintaining a therapeutic atmosphere through positive discipline, behavior modification, and life skills instruction, while observing and responding to behavioral issues to encourage social development.
