As a Secondary Teacher, you will serve as a vital guide in the educational journey of middle school students. Your mission is to plan, develop, and implement an instructional program that addresses varied learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and developmental needs. You will create a classroom environment conducive to learning, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and media to help students achieve established district curriculum goals.
In this role, you will not only teach subject matter but also manage student behavior, foster critical thinking, and collaborate with special education colleagues to modify curricula for Individual Education Plans (IEPs). You will maintain open lines of communication with parents, provide regular progress reports, and supervise teacher aides and student teachers. Your day will involve balancing instructional delivery with the emotional and physical well-being of your students, while actively participating in district meetings and school-sponsored activities.
