This position serves as a vital link between the school and the community, providing specialized consultation and instruction to support eligible students with disabilities. The role is designed to ensure that every student receives an appropriate education through the development of individualized instructional programs, the management of critical documentation (such as ARD paperwork, IEPs, and BIPs), and the consistent communication of student progress to campus staff, district special education teams, and parents or guardians.
Success in this role requires a dynamic educator who is willing to apply state-of-the-art educational practices while collaborating closely with general education teachers and related service staff. You will oversee paraprofessional responsibilities, including training on data collection and instructional strategies, and provide necessary personal care as identified in student IEPs. The position demands the ability to maintain emotional control under stress and the physical capacity to assist non-ambulatory students and manage adaptive equipment.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a valid Texas certificate in the appropriate area. Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively between the school and community, are essential. A CPI Certificate is required once employed.
