About the Role

This position teaches specific grade-level subject matter to a diverse middle school student population, following District standards-based curriculum. The role is designed to help all students develop competence and confidence simultaneously through a balance of acquiring basic skills and developing conceptual understanding. Teachers in this role are expected to lead for racial and educational excellence, working to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in the community while supporting all students so they feel seen, heard, and have access to high-quality education.
